On December 1, 2001 Diana Krall performed to a captivated sold-out audience at the Olympia Theatre in Paris.
There was electricity in the air as Diana flawlessly worked her way through a set that ranged from romantic ballads and bossa novas to cooking uptempo swing.
On Live in Paris, the new DVD and VHS of this performance, Diana is accompanied by her own recording band and the Orchestre Symphonique Europeen and Paris Jazz Big Band conducted by the legendary Claus Ogernman.

Diana Krall a toujours été fascinée par la Bossa Nova, un style musical qui reflète bien son style sensuel et sophistiqué. Diana est entourée sur scène de ses musiciens fidèles : John Clayton (basse), Jeff Hamilton (batterie), Paulinho da Costa (percussions) et Anthony Wilson (guitare) mais aussi d’un orchestre de cuivres et de cordes arrangé par Claus Ogerman. Ce concert filmé en haute définition présente en live, 9 titres de son nouvel album studio « Quiet Nights » qui sort le 30 mars 2009 chez Verve (Universal), ainsi que quelques uns de plus ses grands standards (« Let’s fall in Love », « S’Wonderful »…). Diana Krall prépare une tournée qui passera par la France à l’automne 2009.
